The ILA was founded in Brussels in 1873, with the belief that international law is key to peace, justice and development in a globalised world. The ILA has consultative status, as an international non-governmental organisation, with a number of the United Nations specialised agencies.
ILA Pakistan
The Pakistani Branch of the International Law Association is dedicated to the study, clarification and development of International Law and the advancement of peace, equity and justice worldwide. It was founded in 2015 by Mr Arshad Ghaffar, who is currently a vice-president of the Pakistan Branch. The Branch president is Mr Makhdoom Ali Khan.
